Having started making worktops from furniture grade timbers, it became a natural extension of our business to start making the most beautiful kitchen and dining room furniture as well.

The timbers we use are the most striking and vibrant expression of nature's potential. Often as not, individual pieces reflect this through their apparent design simplicity, yet their beauty and visual impact is simply stunning.

Any good butcher will tell you the only real surface for chopping meat is an old-fashioned end-grain butchers’ block. We've simply refined those hugely practical attributes into some of the most fabulous defining details for a truly fabulous finish for a great kitchen.

Stools are a brilliant solution to the practical problem of island seating in a kitchen. Our Shaker style bar stools are actually remarkably comfortable thanks to the small scoop in the seat.

Whilst these chairs clearly look beautifully elegant and simple, they are in fact quite the most comfortable chair to sit in. Made by a small Amish family firm in deepest Ohio, they are now one of only a few finished items we import directly from the United States.

With grain often running at 90°, balancing framework with aesthetic impact, and design practicalities having enormous impact on construction methods, creating a beautiful sideboard is arguably one of the hardest things cabinet makers can make.
